Black Currant Ben Connan

Blackcurrant. Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, Ben Connan is a very popular early fruiting variety. Exceptionally large and glossy black currants that have superb rich flavour. Neat compact grower bearing fruit on medium length sprigs making them easy to pick.

Blackcurrant ben lomond

Blackcurrant. Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, Ben Lomond is an upright strong grower with a compact habit which makes it ideal for growing in small gardens or containers.

Blackcurrant Ben Sarek

Blackcurrant. A high yielding mildew resistant variety. Compact bushes produce large berries up to 1.6cm. Highly frost tolerant making it an ideal variety for northern locations. Prune immediately after fruiting and feed well.

Blackcurrant Ben Tirran

 

Blackcurrant. Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, Ben Tirran is a late flowering variety that is vigorous and has a compact growth habit. It produces consistently heavy crops of very late ripening currants – excellent for extending the season, it also ensures that this variety has good resistance to frost.
