Featured Holly (Ilex)
Holly. A Female, berrying erect evergreen shrub with grey-green mottled leaves with broad bright gold margins, produces bright red fruit.
Common Holly. A native British evergreen shrub with spiny glossy, wavy margined, dark green leaves. Insignificant flowers in summer producing long lasting red berries in autumn.
Silver Hedgehog Holly.
An evergreen purple stemmed shrub with cream-margined, dark green leaves covered with spines.
Holly. Large, evergreen shrub or small tree, the spiny, leathery, rich-green leaves margined golden-yellow. Clusters of red berries in winter (requires male for pollination).
Holly. ‘Northern Lights’ has a pyramidal habit. Due to its dense branching and upright habit it is excellent for use in tall and broad hedges. It is also recommendable for use in groups with groundcovers such as Pachysandra and Cotoneaster.
